Established in 2010, the Brian E. Doyle Undergraduate Fellowship in Marine Science gives undergraduates at N.H. colleges and universities the opportunity to spend the summer working with N.H. Sea Grant staff to help individuals and organizations make informed decisions regarding our marine resources. The fellows participate in a wide variety of marine programs and these posts cover some of their experiences.

Congratulations to our 2019 Doyle Fellows!
This summer we are excited to have four undergraduate students join the New Hampshire Sea Grant team.
Charles Basile is a rising senior at UNH studying Environmental Science. He will be mentored by Dr. Gabby Bradt on Green Crab Fishery Development. Dr. Bradt will also mentor Taylor Merrick, a rising junior from Unity College in Unity, ME, working toward her degree in Marine Biology and Environmental Education and Interpretation. Taylor will be working on Green Crab Monitoring projects.
Elizabeth Martin is a rising senior at UNH majoring in Environmental Science: Ecosystems, with a minor in Marine Biology. She will be mentored by Dr. Steve Jones working on shellfish practices and public health projects. Maggie Phillips, a recent UNH 2019 Environmental Science Graduate, will be mentored by Mark Wiley as our Marine Education and Outreach Fellow. Maggie will be involved in educational cruises and conference planning for this year's National Marine Educators Association meeting, hosted by UNH in July.
We look forward to reading their stories and following their experiences throughout the summer. Visit the blog often for their latest updates!
